From EVs, to charging, solar and RE product innovations, India to witness over 300 product launches, MOUs, report launches and 7+ giga factory announcements at IESW 2025

New Delhi, India — 07.07.2025: In its endeavour to support India’s Net Zero Goal and push country’s growing global influence on Energy Storage, EV, Clean Tech and Green Hydrogen markets, India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) is organizing India Energy Storage Week (IESW) set to take place in New Delhi from July 8-11, 2025. As India strives to meet its ambitious target of deriving 50% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2030, the call for innovative strategies to ensure grid stability and flexibility has never been more pivotal. In its endeavour to further strengthen the transition towards a resilient energy system that aligns with the vision of net zero emission goals𑁋IESW 2025 is going to be the launchpad for over 300 unique product innovations in EVs, charging infrastructure, solar, green hydrogen, batteries and RE. The event will also witness 7+  factory/ new product  announcements from India’s top manufacturers. The event will be showcasing cutting-edge futuristic energy storage solutions including Lithium Ion,Lithium Sulfur, Sodium Ion batteries, and other technologies from across the globe. 

India will witness one of the biggest gatherings of Ministries, Government Representatives, and Companies from over 20 Countries at the 11th edition of IESW 2025. For over a decade, IESW has served as India’s premier international platform for stakeholders across Battery Manufacturers, Energy Storage, E-mobility, Battery Recycling, and Green Hydrogen in India. 

IESW 2025 will hold 7+ new factory/ product announcements. Voltra Energy is going to announce its Giga factory as the company aims to revolutionise India’s energy future with advanced Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) utilizing cutting-edge technology and world-class infrastructure. Voltra Energy has set up an advanced 2 GWH manufacturing facility focused on producing cutting-edge energy storage solutions. The factory aims to increase the reliability of energy storage solutions in India developing in house BESS technology, Voltra is significantly reducing the lead time while increasing efficiency and performance. Focused on indigenizing BESS solutions for renewable energy integration, grid stabilization, and enhanced energy reliability, the company serves commercial, industrial and utility sectors. 

SR Portables, an Australian renewable energy solutions company is launching Thor Solar Hybrid Inverter (5 kW model), designed specifically for the PM Surya Ghar Scheme. The Thor unit is a compact, high-efficiency hybrid inverter with plug-and-play modularity, real-time app monitoring, and seamless switchover during outages, making it ideal for residential rooftop solar under the PM Surya Ghar initiative.

Polyprotic, a leading speciality chemicals company in India, will announce the launch of three high-performance extraction solvents at India Energy Storage Week (IESW) 2025. In addition to company’s growing MetScav™ range of metal extraction solvents, these new products are designed to address the evolving needs of lithium-ion battery recycling and strategic material refining.  

IESW 2025 will also felicitate MOU singings between governments and corporate to fuel India’s Net Zero goal. India Energy Storage Alliance and Bundesverband  Energiespeicher Systeme (BVES), (Energy Storage Association Germany) will sign an MoU is to establish a framework for cooperation and collaboration between the Parties to promote the advancement of energy storage technologies. The MOU between Energy and Research Institute (TERI) and Skill Council for Green Jobs (SCGJ) will aim at identifying the skill gaps in area of renewables and energy storage and create skill development programs in the sector.

IESA will also launch multiple industry reports on Automative Electrification in India, Stationary Storage in India: Behind-the-meter Applications and Railways, India Hydrogen Market and 1H 2025 India Energy Storage Outlook Report apart from many more. The PWC Report titled EU-India Battery Circularity, produced under the EU-India Clean Energy and Climate Partnership (CECP), offers a framework to establish a robust circular economy in India’s battery market, fostering a collaborative learning approach.
